These Buyer Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Tepsonic marketplace ("Tepsonic," "Platform," "we," "us," "our") when purchasing products from Sellers or from Tepsonic directly. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and all incorporated policies, including: Tepsonic Buyer Protection Policy, Tepsonic Returns & Refunds Policy, Tepsonic Warranty Policy, Tepsonic Payment Dispute & Chargeback Policy, Tepsonic Battery & Hazardous Materials Shipping Addendum, Tepsonic Counterfeit Prevention & Enforcement Policy, and Tepsonic State-by-State Compliance Addendum. Tepsonic facilitates the sale of new, used, and professionally refurbished electronics. Except for items sold directly by Tepsonic, the seller of record is the independent Seller listing the product.
To purchase on Tepsonic, you must be at least 18 years old, reside in one of the 50 U.S. states or eligible territories, have the legal capacity to enter binding contracts, and not be suspended or removed from the Platform.
3.1 Third-Party Sellers: For items sold by third-party Sellers, Tepsonic is not the seller of record, does not own or inspect Seller inventory, and the contract of sale is between Buyer and Seller.
3.2 Tepsonic-Sold Items: For items sold directly by Tepsonic, Tepsonic is the seller of record and provides its own warranty and return obligations.
Sellers must accurately describe cosmetic condition, functional condition, battery health, included accessories, and defects. Tepsonic enforces standardized condition grades: New, Premium, Excellent, Good, Fair. Buyers acknowledge refurbished products may show signs of prior use.
Prices are set by Sellers unless sold directly by Tepsonic. Payments are processed through authorized third-party processors. Tepsonic does not store payment card information. Orders may be canceled if payment cannot be verified. Payment disputes and chargebacks are governed by the Tepsonic Payment Dispute & Chargeback Policy.
Sellers are responsible for packaging, labeling, carrier selection, and compliance with hazardous materials laws. Risk of loss transfers to Buyer once the carrier accepts the package. Tepsonic is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, or delivery errors caused by incorrect Buyer information. Battery and hazardous materials shipping requirements are governed by the Battery & Hazardous Materials Shipping Addendum.
Returns and refunds are governed by the Tepsonic Returns & Refunds Policy.
Warranty coverage is governed by the Tepsonic Warranty Policy.
Tepsonic provides Buyer Protection for eligible purchases as described in the Tepsonic Buyer Protection Policy.
Buyers may not engage in fraud, chargeback abuse, return abuse, off-platform transactions, harassment, unauthorized resale, or attempts to circumvent Tepsonic systems. Counterfeit-related violations are governed by the Counterfeit Prevention & Enforcement Policy.
Disputes are resolved through binding arbitration except where prohibited by law. Class action rights are waived. Additional protections are detailed in the State-by-State Compliance Addendum.
These Terms are governed by Texas law except where superseded by federal or state consumer protection laws.
Tepsonic may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
California: Extended implied warranties; refurbished disclosures; arbitration opt-outs.
New York: Anti-counterfeit enforcement; right-to-repair disclosures.
Massachusetts: Mandatory 30-day defective return window; implied warranty protections.
Texas: Standard UCC protections; arbitration enforceable.
Washington: Strong consumer protection statutes.
Illinois: Refurbished goods disclosures; online transaction protections.
Florida: Warranty limitation disclosures; unfair trade protections.
Other States: UCC, FTC refurbisher rules, state consumer laws.
